10 Years of War in Afghanistan

October 12, 2011 by Adam Day

There are many ways to mark the 10th anniversary of the beginning of the war in Afghanistan — which just passed a few days ago — but one of the simplest and most interesting I’ve seen is this round-up of the mission in 10 pictures.

Presented by a U.S. publication — Foreign Policy Magazine — the pictures show the war from a distinctly Afghan/International perspective. Definitely worth a look, if only to see an image of French soldiers from 68 Regiment Africa Artillery in action against the Taliban.
